Phase 01

Discovery & Briefing

Typical duration: Week 1-2

We assess your requirements, constraints, and goals. This phase establishes shared understanding and identifies feasibility issues early.

1.1  Initial Consultation

We review your references, moodboards, sketches, or existing products. We discuss target markets, price points, volumes, and timelines - and flag potential constraints.

1.2  Feasibility Assessment

We evaluate whether your requirements align with our material capabilities and maker network. We are direct about what we can and cannot do.

1.3  Scope Definition

We document specifications, quality requirements, compliance needs, and success criteria. This becomes our shared reference and accountability baseline.

OUTCOME

Clear brief document with specifications, timeline, budget framework, and identified risks.

Phase 02

Material & Maker Selection

Typical duration: Week 2-3

We recommend appropriate materials and assign the project to makers whose capabilities match the requirements.

2.1  Material Sourcing

We source and recommend materials based on your specifications - considering function, durability, aesthetics, and budget. We flag trade-offs clearly.

2.2  Maker Matching

We assign makers from our network based on their specific capabilities, capacity, and track record with similar work. Each assignment is deliberate.

2.3  Technical Review

We work with makers to review construction methods, identify potential production challenges, and refine specifications for manufacturing feasibility.

OUTCOME

Confirmed material sources, assigned makers, and refined production specifications with documented rationale.

Phase 03

Sampling & Development

Typical duration: Week 3-6

We develop samples iteratively, documenting specifications that will control production consistency.

3.1  Initial Samples

First samples are produced to test material, construction, and finish. We share detailed photographs and measurements — and our assessment of alignment to spec.

3.2  Refinement Rounds

Based on your feedback and our observations, we coordinate with makers to refine details. We limit unnecessary iterations by resolving ambiguities upfront.

3.3  Pre-Production Sample

A final approval sample is produced that serves as the reference standard. This sample is documented comprehensively -it becomes the benchmark for production QC.

OUTCOME

Approved sample, production-ready specifications, and quality benchmarks established.

Phase 04

Production & Quality Control

Typical duration: Week 6-12 (varies)

Production proceeds with clear specifications and in-process monitoring. We flag deviations early and coordinate corrective action.

4.1  Production Kick-off

We confirm material availability, production scheduling, and quality checkpoints. Makers receive detailed production briefs with approved samples and clear criteria.

4.2  In-Process Monitoring

Process-based inspections during production surface deviations early — when correction is practical, not after the batch is complete.

4.3  Pre-Shipment Inspection

Final inspection following agreed protocols (typically AQL-based). We document results with photographs, measurements, and our assessment of shipment readiness.

OUTCOME

Confirmed material sources, assigned makers, and refined production specifications with documented rationale.

Phase 05

Packaging & Shipping

Typical duration: Week 12-14

We coordinate packaging, documentation, and logistics to deliver products export-ready with complete paperwork.

5.1  Packaging

Products are packed according to specifications - retail-ready or bulk export. We verify packaging integrity and document the packing process.

5.2  Documentation

We prepare required export documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and compliance certificates as applicable.

5.3  Shipping Coordination

We work with freight forwarders to arrange shipping on your preferred terms (FOB, CIF, DDP). Tracking and estimated delivery dates are provided.

OUTCOME

Products shipped with complete documentation.

A Note on Timelines.

The timeline above represents a typical project from initial conversation to first delivery. Actual timelines vary based on product complexity, sampling iterations, production volumes, and shipping requirements.

We discuss realistic timelines during the initial consultation and provide updated estimates as the project progresses. We prefer honest planning over optimistic promises.

One Point of Contact

You work with one accountable partner throughout. No chasing multiple vendors or coordinating between parties.

No Surprises

We communicate proactively about progress, challenges, and timeline changes. We flag issues when they arise, not when they escalate.

Quality Built In

Quality control happens at every stage, not just at the end. Issues are identified early and corrective action is coordinated promptly.

Honest Timelines

We provide realistic timelines based on experience, not optimistic projections. We build in buffers and communicate adjustments when needed.

We welcome early-stage discussions.

Share your reference or idea, and we will assess feasibility and recommend an approach.
